Irrational Self-Talk: The Emotional Culprit

Nothing is done TO you. Negative emotions are not caused by external sources, situations, or people, they are generated from within by one culprit: Self-Talk. Yes, emotions are reactive but they are not evil or bad, they are a chance for us to take a time-out and investigate why we are reacting negatively, and to identify the root of our reaction – the irrational thought – in order to transmute it.
