
Today is World Vegetarian Day and as this kicks off Vegetarian Awareness Month, we wanted to share 7 reasons for going veg. By vegetarian, we mean someone who eats from the Vegetable Kingdom only (veg-etarian, as in VEGETABLES), and the idea is to celebrate the veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices and all of the plant-based goodness that the Earth has to offer. Many people go on either detoxes or weight loss diets but it’s important to know that these need to go together. Now more than ever, we must detox before we intend on losing weight. We are living in a very toxic era, with loads of environmental pollutants and toxins in the foods we consume.
